Happy Easter everyone!
We were blessed with the most amazing weather today- warm and sunny with not a rain cloud in sight.
We spent the day at Brooklyn by the Hawksbury River, where we ate fish and chips by the marina and frolicked by the sea- perfection at its best.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your family and loved ones, and dutifully stuffed your faces with copious amounts of chocolate!

Went to dinner at new eatery Foley Lane with my best friends tonight- food was amazingly good and well worth the hour it took me to find parking 😦
Was excited to be able to rock out in my new Alexander Wang heels- bought on the weekend on sale at David Jones- they were surprisingly comfy! I’ll be buying them in every colour! (And you know I’m not kidding when I say that).
Ya’ll know I love love love prints, and I especially love to mash them up together! The key of course is in the colours- shades of neutrals are an easy way to mix prints if you’re a bit hesitant… Then just add a simple heel and you’re ready to go!

Woke up this morning- with the beautiful city at our doorstep!
Me and the kids (husband was comatose from last night’s escapades) ate a leisurely breakfast and then headed over to Pitt St Mall for some serious retail therapy.
We all got new shoes- yay!- and had a super yummy lunch then back to the hotel for a nap- I forgot how tiring shopping can be! I’m out of practice 🙂
Feeling refreshed after our siesta we headed out for dinner at Bondi Trattoria– haven’t been in ages, but remembered that the food is amazing and it still is!
It’s been such a wonderful weekend- I wish it would never end… but it’s home time tomorrow 😦

I had the pleasure of attending a close friend’s wedding this weekend and it was quite simply magical.
The bride looked absolutely breathtaking and the groom is so obviously in love with her it’s ridiculous.
The ceremony took place at a beautiful little chapel on a cliff overlooking the ocean with the cocktail reception following at absolutely dynamite Cafe Morso at Jones Bay Warf- by far the best cocktail reception I have ever attended. Food and service were impeccable.
As you can see, I celebrated in multi-coloured style- I was basically a walking rainbow.
Although I wasn’t the only one… my other close friend was on the same wavelength as me it seems and looked super fabulous in her DvF dress and matching suede shoes… we were the blue suede shoes twins!
Congratulations to the newlyweds Debbie and Geoff- may the rest of your lives together be full of new adventures, exciting moments and eternal love and laughter.

Had a lovely time at a friend’s hen’s dinner last night- went to über cool Paper Planes restaurant in Bondi where they served up the most delicious prawn gyozas I have ever tasted.
Was very excited to be rocking out my new Choos- they were sooooo comfortable, I couldn’t believe it. The best 4.5 inch heels ever. Those Italians really know how to make a shoe- this is why I am such an avid fan.
