IN TOWN- Part 1

 

 

Am soooo excited- we are staying in town for the weekend to celebrate Hubby’s birthday!

First stop was drinks and dinner at Bungalow 8– a great place as the kids can come along and join us for a meal before it turns into an adults only place at 8pm.

Afterwards me and the kiddies headed out to watch the fireworks over the harbour and have room service dessert! What a treat!

Tomorrow will be a day of shopping and playing- I can barely contain my excitement! It’s so nice to have everything right on your doorstep, to be able to just walk to our beds as oppose to driving for an hour to get home!

Can’t wait to see what the rest of the weekend brings…

Happy Birthday Jono!

Today we helped one of our dearest friends celebrate another year on the calendar- Jonathan the birthday boy and my husband have been best friends since primary school.

It’s so wonderful that they are all still part of each others’ lives, and it has been remarkable watching them walk along the road that has lead to today… there were lots of drunken stumbles I assure you!

Jonathan now has a beautiful family of his own and it’s an extraordinary thing to see him fill the shoes of ‘father’ and do it so well.

We love you Jono! Happy Birthday Bro! 

So I got to wear my new One Teaspoon jeans coz it was semi-cool and raining- got these yesterday when I stopped by the store to buy shorts… how typical I walk out with a completely different item! No size in the shorts I wanted… so ordered them online… will be arriving this week!

Love love love these jeans, they are super comfy and I didn’t even need to get them hemmed up! Have been looking for a good pair of distressed boyfriend jeans for aaaages!

P.S- don’t you love her highness’ shoes?! They match mama’s! Hehehe
